The Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods is proud to announce a second round of Solarize Northeast, a community driven project to simplify solar electric installation for North & Northeast Portland residents. Interested neighbors enjoy savings through a community-driven bulk purchase of solar panels. Solarize Northeast hosts workshops to educate residents about solar options, site assessment, installation, and financing options. The next Solarize NE workshop is Saturday, January 21st, at Umpqua Bank, Alberta branch, 1745 NE Alberta St. at 11:00am -12:30pm. Free and open to the public, the workshop will cover the basics of solar panel installation, including financial incentives.
