Solarize ResourcesSolar Now! The Solar Now! campaign connects Oregonians with the resources and assistance they need to choose solar energy. Solar Now! is brought to you by Solar Oregon, Oregon Department of Energy, Energy Trust of Oregon and City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. Solar Oregon is a non-profit membership organization providing public education and community outreach to encourage Oregonians to choose solar energy. They are a 501(c)(3) membership-based, non-profit, educational organization with over 20 years of history supporting solar energy throughout the state.
Energy Trust. Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping utility customers benefit from saving energy and tapping renewable resources. Energy Trust provides funding to reduce the upfront cost of installing a qualified home solar electric system. The amount of the cash incentive depends on a) the size of the solar electric system you install, and b) your electric utility. You may sign up for a Solar Energy Review through Energy Trust and also find qualified solar contractors.
